About the initiative
For eighty years, the United Nations has worked to forge peace, tackle poverty and hunger, advance human rights, and build a more sustainable world together. Marking this milestone and UN Day (24 October) in Thailand, the ‘30 Stories, 17 Goals, One Road to 2030’ exhibition celebrates the stories and legacy of people across the country driving change — one action, one idea, one community at a time — proving that progress happens when we stand together and act as one.
The official launch of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 24 October 2025, from 10.30 to 12.00 hours at SCBX Next Stage, 4th Floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok. The event will bring together government leaders, the United Nations Country Team, and key partners to commemorate 80 years of the United Nations and Thailand’s collective journey toward sustainable development.
In the afternoon of the same day, two public talk sessions on sustainability will be held, providing a platform for experts from government, the private sector, academia, community leaders, young people, and partner networks to exchange views on Thailand’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and share ideas for a sustainable future.
