2026 Report of the Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Group and System-wide Results

As the 2030 Agenda enters its decisive phase, the work of the UN Development System and the Resident Coordinator System was crucial in helping countries move the needle on the Sustainable Development Goals and guarantee peace and prosperity for communities around the world.

The "System-wide Results to Advance the SDGs" provides a snapshot on how UN teams contributed to SDG results at the country level in 2025. Pooling together individual and collective UN entity results in over 160 countries and territories, this captures the work of the the UN Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG) members.

This compilation is a part of the 2026 Report of the Chair of the UNSDG capturing the progress and the impacts of the Development Coordination Office and the RC System. The report captures a comprehensive body of evidence, highlighting the efforts of the RC system to coordinate and convene the support of the UN Development System at the country level.
